John Hagley is a Toronto-based guitarist and composer for video games, television, and film. He produces across all genres such as orchestral, R&B, hip hop, pop, jazz, rock, and more. A truly versatile musician and multi-instrumentalist, John adapts to any medium, vibe, or narrative.

John is currently composing the music soundtrack for Riyo Games’ highly anticipated upcoming JRPG Threads of Time. Other recent projects include Par-Lay: Bet On Yourself - a documentary that follows the story of NBA All-Star Fred Van Vleet, and Skully - an indie adventure available on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam. John’s music can also be heard on numerous ads for brands such as Mercedes, Visa, Ford, Lincoln, Kraft, and more.

John has performed and recorded guitar for various projects, most notably for the Netflix series DreamWorks Dragons. He is also currently the live guitarist and playback engineer for artist Lyzzie.

John holds an MFA in Music Composition for the Screen from Columbia College Chicago, as well as a BFA in Music from York University.
